So today was the last of my packing, I hope everything I packed will fit. [two long bags, two messenger bags, and a smallish box, the air mattress, plus whatever else my mom wants to take.] I found a place to pack my books so hopefully they won’t get bent.
The hotel my dad is staying at long term sounds okay. He has the nice suite with a jacuzzi, so I’m bringing the bubble bath I found today. I’m excited, yo. It only has one bed and he can’t get a two bed room until like June 23. No big deal though. The hotel also has a pool WITH A SLIDE so I’ll be doing a lot of swimming. Which is good, I need to get in shape. I am a good size, but I’m definitely not in shape. Carrying all the stuff from my closet down to the basement [my room is on the second floor] just about took all I had. It was like six boxes, and like 5 big storage containers. Carrying heavy boxes of frozen meat at work wasn’t doing me justice. It made me stronger, but I’m still quite weak in the endurance factor. Swimming is good too because it’s not as stressful on your joints. Not to mention I’m like a tiger, I love water.
So considering I’ll be stuck at a hotel for a while, not so bad. I don’t know if it has Internet or not, I’ll find out when I get there. Tomorrow I have to close my bank account, help my mom mow the lawn, pack the car, and see my friends Jasmine and Marion for the last time before I leave. I can’t believe it’s Thursday already, we leave early Saturday. I’m equally as excited as I am all the other emotions.
